Obituary

WORCESTER-James A. Mullaney, 79, of 101 Chadwick Street, formerly of 9 Doris Street died Wednesday, October 27th in Memorial Hospital. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Constance Louise (Wells) Mullaney, 3 sons, Daniel J. Bell of Worcester, Rex Bell of Ware and James F. Wells E. Hampton, 3 daughters, Marguerite P. Mullaney and Cindy L. LaCasse both of Worcester and Eileen C. Livernois of N. Hampton, 5 brothers, 3 sisters, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, many nephews and nieces. A son, Mark A. Mullaney and one brother predeceased him.

He was born in Worcester the oldest child of Patrick A. and Marguerite E. (Rivers) Mullaney. He was a WWII Navy veteran serving for 9 ½ years. Mr. Mullaney worked for 40 years as a master electrician. He was a life long member of the VFW Post #6907 in W. Boylston. He enjoyed sports and his family.

The funeral service is at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 1st, in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial is in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Sunday, October 31st from 2:00 until 4:00 PM in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 36 Cameron Avenue, Cambridge, Massachusetts, 02140-1102.
