BARBARA ANN KASPER 70, of Ventura California passed away Friday March 21, 2014.
She was Born to the late John and Geraldine Kasper on February 27, 1944 in Peekville, Pennsylvania and lived with her parents in Dickson City Pennsylvania.
Barbara was a member of St. Mary's Church in Dickson City and was also a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ventura.
Barbara graduated from Cathedral High School in 1961 and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing transferring to Elizabeth General Hospital School of Nursing in Elizabeth New Jersey, where in 1964 she graduated with her R.N. and worked there as Head Nurse until 1976. She moved to Edison, New Jersey and worked at John F. Kennedy Hospital from 1976 to 1988. She moved to Oxnard, California in 1988. She worked for 25 years at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard until her untimely death.
Barbara leaves many relatives in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Dallas Texas, also upstate New York and Connecticut and her life partner John J. Julius of Florence, South Carolina and her St. john's Family in Oxnard.
Before going home to Pennsylvania there will be a Memorial Service on Friday March 28, 2014 at St. John's Regional Medical Center 1600 North Rose Avenue, Oxnard in the conference center at 11AM.
