Mary Jane Kapinos, 86, of Willow Road, Greenville died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the wife of the late Matthew S. Kapinos. They had been married for 34 years.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Laurent and Emma (Gaudreau) Chevalier. She had been an employee with Sadler Brothers in South Attleboro before retiring. She had lived in Smithfield since 2007 and had previously lived in Pawtucket.
She is survived by her daughter, Maryann Carney and her husband, Raymond of Greenville, 3 grandchildren: Brook Ardito of Johnston, Kelly Sproul of Raleigh, NC and Melissa Carney, Fuquay Varina, NC and six great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ruth Letendre, Catherine Athaide and Frank Chevalier.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:30am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation Sunday 4-7pm. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
