Barbara G. (Medeiros) Guerra, age 80, of Swansea passed away March 21, 2014. She was the beloved wife of John Guerra and daughter of the late Charles and Marion (Kilroy) Medeiros. Prior to retiring Barbara was a machine operator at Mason Can & Imperial Knife Companies. She loved spending time with her children in the pool.
Barbara was the mother of the late John Guerra, and his wife Claire of Somerset, Debra Berlo, husband Leonard, and Robert Guerra all of Swansea, Lori Nadeau, husband Brian of Somerset, Lynn Guerra of Lynn, MA, and Cindy Guerra of E. Providence. She was sister of Carl Medeiros of New Bedford, William Medeiros, wife Carol of Riverside, RI and Betty Lou Williams of Tiverton. She was also the grandmother of several grandchildren, great grand children, and the aunt to several nieces & nephews.
Her funeral service will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on MONDAY at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Vinnicum Woods Cemetery, Swansea.
