Sue B. (Barnes) Quinn, 79 of Natick, died peacefully Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Eliot Center for Health and Rehabilitation.
She was the beloved wife of Vincent K. Quinn with whom she shared thirty-two years of marriage.
Sue was born in McKenzie, TN in 1935 the daughter of the late Jack and Claudia (Pate) Barnes. She was a graduate of Treadwell High School in Memphis, TN, Class of 1952. She spent her most of her working career as an Administrative Assistant. She enjoyed working at Dennison Corporation in Framingham for many years and retired from Lifeline in 2007.
Sue loved to sew and garden but she most liked spending time in New Hampshire on the boat at Lake Winnipesaukee. She loved and will be missed by her grandchildren.
She was the loving mother of David Ben-Maor and wife Leslie of Ashland, Deborah Allen and her husband Anthony of Hopkinton, Rachel Lamont and her husband Thomas of Hudson, sister to Betty Peppel of Dallas, TX, step mother of Stephen Quinn, John Quinn, Theresa Finnerty and her husband Mark, Christine Landry and her husband Michael, Kirk Quinn and his wife Laurie, Katherine Fowkes and husband Roger, Cherished grandmother of Zachary, Sara, David, Rachel, Noah, Jennifer, Mark, Nathaniel, Rebekah, Abigail, Rachael, Kellie, Kyle, Chelsea, Elizabeth, Michael, and Caroline. She was the former wife of Morton Ben-Maor.
Sue was also the mother of the late Aaron Thomas.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral on Monday, March 24th at 8:00 AM from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:00 AM in St. Patrick Church, 44 E. Central St., Natick.
Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery.
Visiting hours are Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM
