WORCESTER___Robert F. McDonald, 59, of Worcester died Thursday Oct. 28 in his home.
He leaves his life partner of 25 years, Steven F. Warren whom he married June 19, 2004; three brothers, five sisters and many nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Omer E. and Beatrice I. (Denio) McDonald and lived here all his life.
Mr. McDonald was a certified nurse assistant at Christopher House and before then when it was known as The Belmont Home. He worked there from 1984 until August 26. He was educated in Worcester.
He was a member of the United Congregational Church.
The funeral will be held on Saturday Oct. 30 with a service at 10 a.m. in United Congregational Church, 6 Institute Rd. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., are Friday Oct. 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Center, UMASS Memorial Medical Center Foundation, One Lincoln Square, 15 Belmont St., Worcester, 01605.
