Nellie (Nanney) Gentry, 88, passed away March 18, 2014. She was the daughter of the late S. E. and Nora Brown Nanney, and retired from International Clinical Laboratories. She was preceded in death by all her siblings. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Hillis G. Gentry; a nephew, Terry Moore ( Lou); niece, Charlene Schabel (Ray); brother-in-law, Tommy Gentry; sister-in-laws, Geneva Netherton and Virginia and a host of nephews and nieces. Funeral service will be Friday at 1 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation will be Thursday 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. and after 11 A.M. Friday at the funeral home. A special thanks to all her loving care givers.
