Gary Duane Guy, 62, of Fitzgerald, died Sunday, March 16, 2014 in Mitchell County.
Graveside memorial services will be 4 PM,Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery in Abbeville
Mr. Guy was born April 15, 1951, in Waynesboro, Alabama to Melba Ruth Pafford Roberts and the late Alton Guy. He was a contractor in the mobile home industry and had lived in the community most of his life.
He is survived by his wife: Carrie D. Guy of Fitzgerald; a daughter: Sandy G. & Phil Fisher of Abbeville; a son: Greg Guy of Abbeville; step-children: Sherry & Lamar Stephens and Wendy Paul, all of Fitzgerald; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; his mother and step-father: Melba Ruth Roberts and Roger, Sr. of Fitzgerald; two brothers: Roger Roberts, Jr. of Fitzgerald and Jeff Guy of Georgia; and one sister: Tami Deen of Hazlehurst. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers.
