Dorothy P. Eaton
of Tewksbury
TEWKSBURY: Dorothy (Phillips) Eaton, age 93, a longtime Tewksbury resident, formerly of Salem and Lynn, entered into rest on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Blaire House of Tewksbury. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank G. Eaton.
Born in Salem on June 9, 1920, she was the daughter of the late David and Bessie (Sief) Phillips.
Dorothy was raised in Salem, attended Salem schools and graduated from Salem High School.
Prior to her retirement in 1982, she worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the Division of Employment.
She was a former member of the Wilmington American Legion Women's Auxiliary.
Survivors include her brother Sidney Phillips of California; her sister Priscilla Blumberg of Peabody, MA; also several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was the sister of the late Saul, Morris, Howard, Bernard and Ralph Phillips, Mollie Torgenson and Anne Gilman.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 20 at 12 Noon at the Tewksbury Cemetery.
