BRIDGEWATER - Charles P. Auglis Sr., 87, of Bridgewater died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, at home. He was the husband of Nina A. (Porreca) Auglis.
Born May 6, 1917, in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Michael and Ane Auglis.
Mr. Auglis was a shoe worker and foreman at the John Lucy Company for 30 years.
He was a boy scout director.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Charles P. Auglis Jr. of Plano, TX, Nina Marie (Auglis) Taylor and Michael S. Auglis, both of Bridgewater; his siblings, Jennie Pawloski, Nellie Gin and Victor Auglis, all of Bridgewater; his granddaughter, Ani Auglis of Texas and many nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late William and Adam Auglis.
His funeral will be held at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in funeral home.
