Rev. James Allen Williams, 68 of Frankton died March 17, 2014 at Community Hospital ICU after a brief illness.
He was born December 9, 1945 in New Castle, IN to Herbert and Margeruite (Pike) Williams.
He has worked at Chrysler 39 years retiring as a Set-up man in 2004 and as a label clerk at Red Gold for the last 8 years.
He was a member of Frankton Wesleyan Church and loved all sports especially IU Basketball. He was very active. He loved his family.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 50 Sandra (Keck) Williams of Frankton whom he married November 1, 1964; four children: Brian Allen (Valerie) Williams of Anderson; Jama (Alan) DeLong of Frankton; Amanda (Neal) Graham of Anderson; Timothy Williams of Frankton; seven grandchildren, Andrew Swan (girlfriend, Brittany); Katie Swan (boyfriend, Doug); Thomas Swan; Jordan Williams; Parker Williams; Noah Williams(girlfriend, Allison); Zoie Williams; two step-grandchildren, Candace DeLong; Aaron DeLong; three brothers, Richard (Peggy) Williams of Knightstown, Mike (Carol) Williams of Wentzville, MO and William "Bill" Williams (Companion Jan) of Knightstown and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Leonard Williams.
Service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 21, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Bill Thompson officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 20 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
