On July 22, 1988, a beautiful boy named Jourdann Anthony Marvin Moore was born unto Raymond and Janet (Shaw) Moore.
Jourdann was a very special boy who, in his 16 precious years, has left countless wonderful memories to his his parents, his two brothers, Logan Reginald Moore and Tanar Joseph Moore; his grandparents, Marvin and Claris Shaw of Mystic and Virginia Mattison of Groton; his uncle Mark and aunt Linda, and his cousin Chelsea.
Jourdann was a 2003 honors graduate of Cutler School and was currently in 9th grade of Life Skills Class at Fitch High School. He loved basketball and was a Lifetime Member of the Conneticut State Tractor Pullers Association, a hobby he inherited from, and enjoyed participating in with, his paternal grandparents, Marvin and Claris Shaw.
Jourdann went to Heaven on October 27th while fighting his life-long battle with Epilepsy. Those who knew and loved him will always remember his happy, loving personality.
Jourdann's family invites relatives and friends to join them for a Memorial Service at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Route 1, Groton (at the intersection of Groton Long Point Road) on Saturday at 10am. There are no visiting hours.
Memorial donations may be made to the family or they request that donors instead perform an act of kindness for a loved one or stranger in Jourdann's memory.
