Obituary

Bonita Springs, FL. ¬– Jacqueline I. Lavoie, 77, died March 13, 2014 at her winter home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Lewiston, Maine, October 30, 1936, she was the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Landry) Carrier. As a communicant of Saint Elizabeth Seton in Bedford, New Hampshire, she was a member and past-president of the Ladies Guild, and taught CCD. Jackie was also active in the Bedford Women’s Club.
In her winter home of Bonita Springs, Florida, She was involved in several community activities, including shuffleboard and bocce. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker ; she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her many close friends and family.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Maurice ‘Bill’ Lavoie, one daughter: Joline Manseau and husband Normand of Manchester, three sons: Rev. Ronald Lavoie and wife Linda of Rigby, Idaho, Jules Lavoie and husband Brad Gagnon of Ayer, Massachusetts, Jerome Lavoie of Columbus, Mississippi, five grand children: Marc, Christine, Nicole, Laura, Ronald, great granddaughter: Claire, brother: Lionel Carrier and wife Jeannine of Allentown, New Jersey, sister: Lorraine LaCasse and husband Arthur of Portland, Maine. She was predeceased by brothers: Camille, Albert, Rev. Lucien, Bertrand, and sisters: Rita, Laurette, and Muriel.
Calling hours will be Friday, March 21, 6 to 8 PM, at J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St, in Manchester. Memorial Mass will be Saturday, March 22, 10 AM, at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford.
