Barbara A. (Wolfgram) Cash, 63 of Swampscott, died unexpectedly Satruday, March 15, 2014 at the NSMC/Salem Hospital. She was the loving wife of Phillip R. Cash with whom she had shared 43 years of marriage.
Born in Salem and raised in Marblehead, Barb was a graduate of Marblehead High Class of ’68. Shortly after graduation she worked as secretary for a local orthodondtist. Barb and Phil married in 1971. For over 35 years she worked for the Marblehead Community Store while handling the bookkeeping for her husband’s Phil Jr.’s Mobil Service Station in downtown Marblehead.
Barb was a devoted wife and mother who loved her large extended family and many friends, and was a staunch member of the Tuesday Night Book Club. She will be greatly missed by many.
In addition to her husband Phil, she is survived by her daughter, Kelley J. Cash of Swampscott, a brother, John Wolfgram and his wife Adin of S Portland, ME, three sisters, Susan Carroll and her husband Ted of Marblehead, Connie Thober and her partner Richard Clark of Topsfield, Judy McNaught and her husband Gerry of S Berwick, ME, a sister-in-law, Lynette Cash and her partner Mary Batten of Concord, VT and brother-in-Law, Michael Cash also of Concord, VT as well as many nieces and nephews and her devoted four legged friend Charlie.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 26 Pleasant St., Marblehead at 11:30 A.M. to be followed by her burial in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem.
