Obituary

Victor Gallucci, Jr., 74, of Derry, NH, passed Saturday March 15, 2014 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born May 12, 1939 in Boston, MA and was a son of the late Victor, Sr. and Philomena (Cardinelli) Gallucci. Mr. Gallucci was raised and educated in East Boston and had resided in Derry for the past 40 years.
Mr. Gallucci served in the U.S. Army and Massachusetts Army National Guard from 1960 to 1964, during the Vietnam era. He was employed for most of his working life as a cabinet maker with Plasto Manufacturing. He enjoyed horse racing and cherished his family and friends.
Members of the family include his wife of 50 years, Ann (Rella) Gallucci of Derry, his son and daughter-in-law, Victor Gallucci, III and Shannon Nault, and his brother, Richard Gallucci of Tewksbury, MA., as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Gallucci.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 4 to 8 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, Crystal Ave. Derry and will conclude with burial at Forest Hill Cemetery of East Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Home Health and Hospice, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
