Maria Gloria (Perry) Aguiar, age 95 formerly of Somerset, passed away March 14, 2014. She was the wife of the late Antonio Aguiar and the daughter of the late Antonio & Maria (Sardinha) Perry. Prior to retiring, Maria worked as a seamstress for the former Twinkee Raincoat Co. and was a parishioner of St. John of God Church.
She is survived by her children: Antonio A. Aguiar of Somerset and Gloria Perkins of Fall River; a brother: Manuel Perry of Fall River; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Antonio Pereira, Balbina Vieira, Maria Silvia, and Elsie Alegria.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on MONDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church, Somerset at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours on SUNDAY 4-8 P.M.
