Roberta (Brunette) Lizotte, 75, of Fairhaven died Wednesday March 12, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Leo Lizotte.
Born in Acushnet, the daughter of the late Anthime and Beatrice (Allaire) Brunette, she lived in Fairhaven for most of her life.
Roberta was formerly employed as a receptionist at Sacred Heart Home for 16 years until her retirement. She had also previously worked for the New England Telephone Company.
She was a graduate of Fairhaven High School, Class of 1956, and enjoyed attending her high school reunions. She enjoyed going to Foxwoods and Bingo.
She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.
Survivors include her three children, Glenna DeSouza and her companion Randy Borges of Fairhaven, Russell Lizotte and his wife Kristine of New Bedford, and JoAnn Lizotte and her companion Scott Rose of Taunton; a brother, Anthime Brunette and his wife Sylvia of Fairhaven; six grandchildren, Farrell DeSouza, Clifford DeSouza, Myles DeSouza, Krystal Soule, Monique Lizotte, and Ryan Borges; a great-grandson, Ocean DeJesus; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Kathy Downing.
