James Joseph Davis, Jr., 32, of Tifton died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. John Thomas will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 14, 2014, immediately following the service in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Davis was born on March 22, 1981 in Napa Valley, California and was the son of Jim Davis, Sr. and Maggie Gomez Davis, both of Idaho. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Kelly Melton Davis of Tifton; one son, James Joseph Davis III of Tifton; five daughters, Amy Davis, Ava Davis, Ashley Davis, Aalyah Davis and Amber Davis, all of Tifton; one brother, Robert Davis of Oregon; and five sisters, Angie Gomez of California, Belinda Connor of Idaho, Wendy Garcia of Idaho, Bobbi Jo Flentez of Texas and Joy Eilts of California.
