Obituary

Lois Pearl Harris, 96, of Grandview, passed away on March 10, 2014 in Wynnwood Assisted Living in Richland.

She was born on November 23, 1917 in Casper, Wyoming to Doyle and Ruby (Pollard) Anderson. She traveled with her family as a child while her father worked as a sheriff and in the oil fields until settling in the White Bluffs area near Hanford. Lois finished her schooling in Benton City. She met her husband, Charles Harris in Grandview where they were later wed on May 16, 1936. The couple made their home in Grandview where they raised their two children and she worked for Avon for over fifty-five years.

Lois was a long-time member of the Grandview Seventh-day Adventist Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and canning.

She is survived by her daughters, Eloise Gordon of Richland and Betty Geouge in Arizona; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 1989, her parents and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 14th at Grandview Seventh-day Adventist Church. Concluding services and burial will follow in the Grandview Cemetery.
