Duperre, Florence Mary, (Guerra) 94 of Plymouth passed into the arms of the Loard on March 9. Florence was the wife of the late Robert Duperre, and the loving mother of Virginia Maccaferri and her husband Glenn, of Plymouth and Robert Duperre and his wife Donna of Enfield, CT. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Abbi Hatton of Plymouth, Yvette Chevalier, Andrew Duperre, Robert John Duperre all of CT and 9 great grandchildren.
Florence was born in Plymouth the daughter of Alphonso and Virginia (Bianchi) Guerra. She graduated from Plymouth High School. Florence worked at the Plymouth Fuve Cents Savings Bank, as a hostess at the Ocean Spray Visitors Center on the Plymouth water front and as a greater at the Plymouth Plantation. She was a member and Past President of St. Peter’s Woman’s League, a Eucharist Minister, an Associate of the Sisters of Divine Providence (Sacred Heart School). Florence enjoyed knitting and cooking especially Italian Food and spending time with her family.
Visiting hour will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. (Rte 3A) N. Plymouth on Wednesday March 12 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Kateri Parish on Thursday March 13 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be Private at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Florence’s memory may be made to the St. Vincent’s DePaul Society at St. Peter’s Parish.
