Belmont-----Barbara Ann Thompson, 48, of 125 Main Street, died March 6, 2014 at Concord Hospital.
Mrs. Thompson was born July 21, 1965 in Lowell, Mass. the daughter of Frank and Kathleen M. (Hand) Hawkins, Sr. She had moved from Laconia Belmont two years ago. She had formerly worked for AAA Taxi.
Mrs. Thompson loved taking care of her grandchildren, she enjoyed swimming, being at the beach, spending time with her family, loved watching movies and listening to music.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Victor Thompson, of Belmont; three sons, Roger R. Perkins Jr., and his wife, Kristin (Altavilla), of Methuen, Mass., Stephen K. Perkins and Matthew N. Perkins, both of Laconia; three daughters, Melissa Perkins of Henniker, Stephanie Perkins, of Dover and Angela Perkins, and her partner, Richard Littlefield, of Laconia; fifteen grandchildren; Mrs. Thompson had custody of two of her grandchildren, Auryannah and Skyler; four brothers, Frank Hawkins Jr., and his wife, Jodie, of Laconia, Daniel Hawkins, of Seabrook, Lawrence Hawkins, of Salisbury, Mass. and Michael Hawkins, and his wife, Jennifer, of Lawrence Mass.; four sisters, Kathleen Demeuse, and her husband, Mark, of Chelmsford, Mass., Elizabeth “Betty” Sylvia, and her husband, Donald, of Laconia, Venus Hill, and her husband, Ronald , of Franklin and Lisa Rippy, and her husband, James, of Dorchester; many nephews and nieces and many cousins in Mass. and NH. Mrs. Thompson is predeceased by her parents, Kathleen M. Hawkins and Frank Hawkins, Sr. and her first husband Roger R. Perkins, Sr.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 6:00PM – 9:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia using the Whipple Ave. entrance.
Spring burial will be held in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
