Gregory Scott Girgus, 28, of Derry, NH passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Greg was born on August 23, 1985 in Derry, NH, the son of Jonathan W. and Cathy-Jo Girgus. He was a lifelong resident of Derry and attended Pinkerton Academy. Greg enjoyed camping and loved any and all outdoor activities. There was no such thing as a stranger to Greg as he made friends with all. He had a huge heart and a kind soul. Greg will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Greg is also survived by his sister, Katie E. Girgus, maternal grandmother, Florence Collins, paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Nancy Girgus and Judith and Robert Todd, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Daniel J. Collins.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Funeral service was held on Friday March 14th at 10:00am in the funeral home.
