Mildred M. (Smith) Dion, 94, of Dartmouth, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ernest H. Dion.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Willard N. Smith, Sr. and Elizabeth (Coyne) Smith, she had resided in New Bedford for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Dion worked as a cafeteria worker in Normandin Junior High School in New Bedford.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dion was the sister of the late Charlotte Coupe, Dorothy Belval and Willard N. Smith, Jr.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
