Jean M. (Connell) Hanley, 83, of Westport died Saturday, March 8, 2014 peacefully at home with her sons by her side. She was wife of the late Gerald M. Hanley.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Alphonse and Irene (Laroque) Connell, she had lived in Westport since 1963. Mrs. Hanley was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. She enjoyed gardening and family gatherings, but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include 2 sons: Michael G. Hanley of Westport and Patrick Hanley of Westport; 2 brothers: John Connell of Somerset and Charles Connell of Fall River; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Gerry Connell, Grace McCarthy, Jacqueline Lage and James Connell.
Memorial Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, March 20, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10:30 A.M.
