Manchester– Joseph R. Lupa, 68, died March 3, 2014 at Elliot Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on March 14, 1945 the son of Stanley and Hester (Meekins) Lupa.
He was a local club owner, roofer and plumber .
Family members include 6 children; Christina Carrington and husband, John, Anycia Villa, Hilary Villa, Peter Lupa, Mark Lupa and wife Alisha, Michael Villa, 8 grandchildren; 4 brothers; Chuck Meekins, Stanley Lupa, and his wife, Francine, Donald Lupa, Michael Lupa, and 1 sister, Helen Condit, and her husband, Bob.
He was predeceased by a brother, Peter Lupa.
Services will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of Woitkowski Funeral Home.
