NORTON, Robert M. longtime resident of Dedham, formerly of Dorchester, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday March 5, 2014 after a brief illness. Beloved husband of 53 years to Anne (Coleman). Devoted father of Nancy of Jackson, WY, Robert of Northboro, Katie McGonagle and her husband Scott, Michael and his wife Michelle, and Christine Coughlin and her husband Bob all of Dedham. Brother of John, Paul, and Brenda of Dorchester, Michael and his wife Patricia of West Roxbury, Mary of Jamaica Plain, William and his wife Ginny of Weymouth, and the late Edward. Predeceased by his Mother Anna, Father Michael and Aunt Helen. Adored "Papa" of Annie and Christopher McGonagle, Mary Kate, Paul and Bobby Coughlin, and Michael and Kelly Norton. Leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews and many great friends.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Monday, March 10 at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 9 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Sunday, March 9 from 4-8 pm. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
