HAMMOND, Grace (Rutherford) 85, of Wellesley, died peacefully March 4, 2014 at the Stanley R. Tippett Hospice Home. She is survived by her beloved husband Fred H. Hammond Jr. who she was married to for 61 years. She was the devoted mother of Barbara Hammond Pedersen and her husband Neil J. Pedersen of Silver Spring, MD, and the late Richard Paul Hammond and his wife Donna Z. Hammond of Simsbury, CT. Survived by 2 beloved grandchildren Christina and Alanna Hammond.
An avid reader, Grace worked at the Wellesley Free Library for over 30 years and was an active member of the Wellesley Village Congregational Church.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Wellesley Village Congregational Church, 2 Central St., Wellesley Sq., on Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
