Manuel Dias, age 90 of Fall River, passed away March 3, 2014. He was the son of the late John and Carolina (Pereira) Dias, a US Navy WWII and Korean War Veteran and a retired cook at the former Truesdale Hospital.
Manuel leaves 2 sisters Leona Cordeiro, and Evangeline Leite both of Fall River, a friend Doreen Cady and two nieces. He was the brother of the late Mary Souza and Gilma Reilly.
Following cremation, interment of Manuel’s Urn will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Manuel’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, Massachusetts 02472
