Donna "Kay" Russell, 70, of Mystic died Monday, March 3, 2014 at her home. She was born May 6, 1943 in Spartanburg SC, the daughter of Arbra J. and Lois (Sawyer) Easler. She is survived by her husband of over 31 years, Edward R. Russell of Mystic.
Kay graduated from high school in Fairborn, OH and worked for over 30 years as a supervisor in the Navy Exchange in Groton, CT.
In addition to her husband, Kay is survived by her sisters, Sheila Malbaurn, Joanna Easler, Laura Martin; brother Stanley Easler; daughter, Penny Russell; granddaughter, Beth Russell, as well as David and Rachel and their families.
Kay's family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday from 5 to 6pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic, immediately followed by a Funeral Service and Eternal Light Ceremony by the Submarine Veterans conducted at 6pm. Additional services and burial will take place on Saturday in South Carolina.
