Roger E. Frye, 73, of Marlboro, died on Sunday, March 2nd at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diane L. (Moore) Frye of Marlboro.
Roger was born in Concord, son of the late Harry and Grace (Carr) Frye. He was raised in Hudson where he attended local schools and has been a longtime resident of Marlboro. He was employed by the Hudson Lock Company in Hudson for many years. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing miniature golf with his family friends. He was a member of the First Church in Marlboro.
Roger always looked forward to spending time with his family, especially with his granddaughter most recently. He will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father and friend.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his two children, Edmund R. Frye of Marlboro and Jennifer A. Dennis and her husband Dale of Hudson. He also leaves his loving granddaughter Tia.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th at 1:00 p.m. in Brookside Cemetery, Gleasondale Road, (Rt. 62), Stow. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
