Emory, James Thomas, 85, of Louisville passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014. He retired from General Electric after 35 years and was a member of Valley View Church. Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean (Steenbergen) Emory; daughters, Shiron Wordsworth and Dr. Shannon Cambron and her husband, Joseph Terry Cambron II; grandchildren, Laura Flint (Robert), Caroline & Tyler Cambron, Jeremy Flint, Bobby Flint (Kirsten), Rebekah Flint, Sheldon Flint and Adin Flint; and a host of grandchildren of the heart. Funeral services for James will be 10 a.m. Friday at Valley View Church, 8911 3rd Street Road, with burial to follow at Beth Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be 12- 8 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, and Friday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
