LAWLOR – Donna Marie (Schindler), of Westwood, formerly of West Roxbury, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, March 2, 2014. Beloved wife of William J. Lawlor. Loving mother of Jennifer Anastasi and her husband Robert of Auburn and Meghan Lawlor of Westwood. Devoted daughter of Ronald and Marie (O’Malley) Schindler of Medfield. Daughter-in-law of Josephine (Siracusa) Lawlor of West Roxbury and the late John H. Lawlor. Sister of Linda McCloud and her husband John Michael of Medfield, Patricia Porter of Falmouth, , Robert Schindler and his wife Susan of Medway, Diane Lawler and her husband Brian of Medfield, James Schindler of West Roxbury, Thomas Schindler and his wife Kim of Abington and Maureen Cullen and her husband Vincent of West Roxbury. Sister-in-law of John Lawlor and his wife Ginger of West Bridgewater, Joseph Lawlor and his wife Josephine of Pembroke and Richard Lawlor and his wife Janine of Walpole. Also survived by many loving niece, nephews and Roxy.
Visiting hours in the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Wednesday, March 5, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in The Holy Name Church, West Roxbury on Thursday March 6, at 10:00 Am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
Donna was a graduate from St. Elizabeth Nursing School and was a nurse at Children’s hospital for 35 Years.
