John N. Theodore, of Malden, died Saturday at his home after a brief illness. He was 66.
Born and raised in East Boston, John was a Malden resident for the past 30 years. John worked as a machinist and mechanic in the tool and dye industry and also with North Shore Health Care in Lynn. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, John also enjoyed regular visits to Suffolk Downs and followed the daily lottery with enthusiasm.
He was the devoted husband of Claire (Conlon) Theodore. He was the beloved father of Sharon Roberts and her husband Steve of Medford, Jay Theodore and his wife Pamela of Windham,NH. He was a loving grandfather and “Binka” of Tara Roberts. He was the dear stepson of Peter DeRousi of East Boston and brother of George Theodore of East Boston, Anthony Theodore of Chelsea, Elaine Erickson of Melrose, Marie Partee of East Boston and Dorothy Hoey of East Boston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the chapel of the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Friends and family may visit Tuesday from 4 - 8.
