WHORISKEY Phyllis M. of West Roxbury, formerly of Mission Hill, March 3, 2014. Beloved daughter of the late Peter and Ellen (Quinn) Whoriskey. Sister of the late Peter, William, Thomas and Anna Whoriskey and Eleanor Duduch. Survived by many nieces and nephews and their families all of whom will miss Phyllis and her great sense of humor.
Graduate of Mt. Ida College (1952), and Northeastern University (1955). For over 30 years she oversaw the welfare of children through her career as a social worker for the Commonwealth of MA.
Funeral from the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury Friday at 9am. Funeral Mass in Holy Name Church, West Roxbury at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
