Worcester: Earl Robert Taylor, 83, passed away on March 2, 2014. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Earl and Rose (Newman) Taylor. He graduated from North High School class of 1948, Clark University class of 1953, and Worcester Jr. College, class of 1963. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for many years as the Manager of Sales Engineering at Heald Cincinnati Milicron. He was a member of St. Michael's on the Heights Church and served on its vestry committee. He was a volunteer at the Fallon Clinic, a Mason and member of Athelstan Lodge, a member of the silver sneakers at the Greendale YMCA, and he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and bird watching. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Earl leaves a son Stephen E. Taylor and his partner, James Vilasuso of Manchester, CT and a grandson Jason Paquette and his wife Bethany of Lisbon, CT. His devoted wife of 60 years, Laura E. (Fassett) Taylor predeceased him on February 25, 2014 (last week). He was also predeceased by a daughter Donna E. Paquette in 2003.
