Beverly Sexton Kinnett, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, October 24, 2004, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Graveside services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday, October 26, 2004, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with Rev. Edd Spurlock and Dr. James E. Luckie officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 Monday evening.
Mrs. Kinnett was born November 12, 1933, in Fitzgerald, Georgia to the late Clayton Sexton and Maggie Brickle Sexton. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Dorminy Medical Center and received her training from Ben Hill-Irwin Tech. Mrs. Kinnett was known for the many crochet afghans she created and the friends and family she taught to crochet.
Mrs. Kinnett is survived by: one daughter and son-in-law: Laura Karen and David Butler, Bonaire, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law: Clay and Alice Hunter, Lahaina, Hawaii; three grandchildren: William Scott Lane, Tifton, GA; Daniel Eric Lane, and his wife, Ashley, Jacksonville, FL; Mason Clayton Hunter, Lahaina, Hawaii; three brothers: Jack W. Sexton, and his wife, Connie, Fitzgerald; James Gibbs, Fitzgerald; David Gibbs, Fitzgerald; one sister: Debbie Sexton Alligood, Alpine, AL; and loving cousin, Clydean B. Cosper, Lizella, GA. Her husband, Paul Kinnett and brother, Joe Sexton, preceded her in death.
