Obituary

Mr. William K. Danforth, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, February 26 in the Golden Living Center, Attleboro, following a period of failing health. He was the former husband of Catherine (Hoard) Danforth of Lakeville. He was born 64 years ago in Attleboro, the son of the late Albert M. and Viola (Drew) Danforth. He was educated in Norton and had been a Mansfield resident for the past 10 years. William was a self-employed asphalt contractor for a number of years. He enjoyed watching football.
He leaves: 2 sons: Albert and Jonathan Danforth both of Lakeville; 1 daughter: Lisa Jerrier of Lakeville; 3 brothers: Robert Oliveria of Mashpee, David Oliveria of Norton, and Paul Danforth of Norton; 1 sister: Jeannette McKenzie of Attleboro; 3 granddaughters: Allison Danforth, Ashlyn Danforth, and Adrienne Jerrier, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Michael Danforth and Judith Shotzberger.
A Graveside Service will be held in Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton, at a time and date to be announced. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral home of Taunton.
