Robert Lane Tarrant, Sr., 82 of Waddy, KY went to his heavenly home February 26, 2014 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Hospital.
He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, the owner of Tarrant Service Agency, a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, an Army veteran and a member of the Pigeon Fork Baptist Church and an avid gardener.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Hunter and Gladys Tarrant.
He is survived by his soul mate of 34 years the former Donna Dailey Tarrant; children, Robert Tarrant, Jr. (Leesa), Jody Tarrant, James Tarrant, and Brian Husband; grandchildren, Heather, B.J., Christopher, five great-grandchildren and sister, Betty Hatfield, his in-laws, Edward and Mildred Dailey, Ed Dailey (Marsha) and Mariellen Yates (Jim); nieces, nephews and his church family.
Funeral service will be held 1pm, Saturday at Owen funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation 2-7 pm, Friday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen
