Maria “Glendene” Keeling, ,68 died with her family by her side February 26. She was born in Somerset, Ky, the daughter of Glenn V. Larimore and Mary Owen Blackwell. She joined her parents and her brother Larry O. Larimore in Heaven. She graduated from PRP High School in 1963. She was an accomplished gymnast at Louisville Turners. She worked at Hallmark for many years. She has been happily married to Donald R. Keeling, Sr for 44 years. She is survived by her brother Michael A. Blackwell (Becky Blackwell) and her sister-in-law Mary Jo Larimore. She leaves four children, Lisa K Andrews (Jeff Andrews), Tony Purcell (Mara Purcell), Donnie Keeling (Cathy Keeling), and Shawn Keeling (Nikki Keeling). She was know by her 11 loving grandchildren as Mamaw and Granny: Stephanie Burgin (Sean Burgin), Samantha Andrews, Amber Keeling, Rachel Andrews, Destinee Shellman, Amanda Andrews, Chad Purcell, Zachary Keeling, Drew Purcell, Ireland Keeling, and Baby Wesley Keeling.
She loved entertaining friends and family. She loved playing with her grandchildren. She loved to travel to exotic places. She enjoyed Derby Dinner, Bunco, Bridge, and playing on Pogo.
Memorial service will be held 4 pm, Saturday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation 3-8 pm, Friday at the funeral home.
