Eileen M. “Enie” Geraghty, 95, of East Walpole died February 26 in the Charlwell House in Norwood.
Born in East Walpole, January 11, 1919, the daughter of the late Edward and Emily (McDermott) Geraghty, Miss Geraghty was a lifelong Walpole resident.
Miss Geraghty had worked for over 40 years in the accounting department at Bird & Son in East Walpole.
Enie had been a member of the Walpole Country Club. She was an avid golfer, loved to bowl and travel and enjoyed going out to eat.
She was the sister of the late Catherine Lynch, John, Charlotte, Edward, Joseph, Michael and Charles Geraghty.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great -nieces and great-nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday March 4 from the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main Street Walpole at 8:00 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church at 9:00.Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, South Walpole.
Visiting hours will be on Monday from 6-8 pm.
