Marshall R. Thompson Jr, 74, of Windham, NH passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. He was born on October 15, 1939 in Somerville, MA, a son of the late Marshall R. and Dorothy (Hertach) Thompson Sr. Mr. Thompson was an avid New England Sports Fan. He enjoyed reading, music and crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his two sons, Marshall R. Thompson III and his wife Lori, and Derek Thompson and his wife Jennifer; one daughter Kelli-Ann Harrigan and her husband Edward, one step-daughter, Brein Matturro and her husband Vinnie, five grandchildren, Marshall, Jacob, Zachary, Grady and Bodhi; and two brothers, Gary Thompson and William Thompson. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen (Morgan) Thompson on July 31, 2013.
Calling hours were held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 2 - 4 at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 2nd at 2:00pm in the funeral home with cremation to follow.
