Worcester, MA - Laura E. (Fassett) Taylor, 82, passed away at Autumn Village on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. She was born in Worcester, one of eight children to Vera L. (Salisbury) and Joseph G. Fassett. Laura was a graduate of the former David Hale Fanning Trade High School for Girls and a member of Saint Michael's on the Heights Episcopal Church. She and her husband volunteered at the Fallon Clinic together for many years. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was also a fabulous cook.
She leaves her beloved family - her devoted husband of 60 years, Earl R. Taylor; son, Stephen E. Taylor and his partner, James Vilasuso of Manchester, CT; grandson, Jason Paquette and his wife, Bethany of Lisbon, CT; sister-in-law, Maureen Fassett of Holden; brother-in-law, Herbert Dodge of Ormond Beach, FL; as well as many nieces and nephews. Laura was predeceased by her daughter, Donna E. Paquette (d. 2003), and all of her siblings.
Arrangements:
Private burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Michael's on the Heights in Worcester or a charity of the donor's choice.
