Obituary

John “Jack” Luskin, Jr., 86, of Medway went home to his Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Jean M. (Gingras) Luskin since 1947.

Born in Brighton on December 8, 1927, he was the son of the late John J. Luskin, Sr. and Gladys F. (O’Reily) Luskin.

Mr. Luskin grew up in Nova Scotia, Canada and resided in Watertown until moving to Medway in 1960.

Before his retirement, he worked at Haartz Auto Fabric in Acton for 42 years, retiring as foreman of the shipping department.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Peter J. Luskin and his wife Mary of Bellingham, John A. “Jack” Luskin and his wife Bonnie of Wrentham and James M. Luskin and his wife Jill of Millville and three daughters, Linda L. Towne and her husband Alan of Springfield, Mary Anne Nigro of Medway and Barbara Jean Marshall of Burlington, WI.

He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, Melissa, Christopher, Julie, Matthew, Jeanie, Elise, Amy, Alyssa, Kaylee, Adam, John, Lily and Jack and four great-grandchildren, Gregory, Aislinn, Abigail Grace and Colleen Faith.

He was the brother of the late James Luskin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday morning, February 28 at 9:30 a.m.in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 11 a.m.
