Obituary

FALL RIVER… Brenda M. Teixeira, 40, of Fall River passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at Charlton Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of William R. Teixeira and his wife Janice of Fall River and the late Belmira (Valentino) Teixeira and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
A graduate of B. M. C. Durfee High School, Brenda had worked as a cashier at Dunkin Donuts on Pleasant St. in Fall River for many years as well as a waitress at Friendly’s Restaurant in Somerset and at the Raynham Dog Track. She loved music, especially Celine Dion, spending time with her loving family and was the #1 fan of her brother’s band ”Exit 5”.
Along with her father and step mother, survivors include a brother: William Teixeira III of Fall River, a step-sister: Amy J. Padilla of Fall River, her beloved boyfriend: Edmund Beauchemin of Fall River, her paternal grandmother: Laurinda Teixeira, a niece: Lori Teixeira and a nephew: Thomas Teixeira.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday, March 1, at 8 AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at St. Bernadette’s Church, 529 Eastern Ave. Fall River. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 – 8 PM. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
