Friedland, Kevin S. of Marshfield, passed away on February 23, 2014 at the age of 19. Loving son of Stephen and Eileen (Kearns) Friedland of Marshfield. Dear brother of Julia and Michael Friedland of Marshfield. Dear grandson of John “Jack” and Nancy (Peterson) Kearns and the late Eileen Patricia Kearns of Milton, the late Irwin “Hank” and Audrey (Herbert) Friedland of Randolph. Dear nephew of Brenda and Chris Green of Plymouth, Jack and Colleen Kearns of Easton, Steven and Bridget Kearns of Quincy, Michael Kearns of Weymouth, Catherine and Mohammed Yahiaoui of Randolph and the late Cynthia Ellis of Bridgewater. Also survived by many cousins, extended family and dear friends. Kevin was born and raised in Marshfield. He was a graduate of Marshfield High School, Class of 2012. Kevin was a Biology major at Westfield State University. He ran track and was on the varsity cross-country team in High School.
Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Thursday, February 27 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal St. in Marshfield at 11:00 a.m.
Interment in Couch Cemetery.
