GLOUCESTER - Anna B. (Burke) (Saulnier) Frontiero, 96, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at home, surrounded by her loving family and friends, following an extended illness. She was the wife of the late Benedetto Frontiero.
Born in Gloucester on March 15, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Margaret Burke. A lifelong resident of Gloucester, she worked for North Shore Sports Wear and LePage’s.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Barbara C., wife of Maurice Robillard of Spring Hill, Florida, and Valerie A. Marques of Gloucester; three grandchildren, Maureen, Maurice and Minette; four great-grandchildren, Nathan, Samantha, Renée and Patricia; four great-great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Steven, Logan and Emme; a brother-in-law, George B. Nichols; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Emma Pynn, Helen Ahonen and Dorothy Nichols and one brother, Harry Burke.
