Obituary

Mary L. (Rubino) Wildes, age 84, formerly of Brockton and Rockland, died Friday, February 21, 2014. Mary was the wife of the late Harland H. Wildes. Born and raised in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Mauro and Florence Rubino. Mary loved and enjoyed her family. She was an avid Boston sports fan who also enjoyed oil painting, arts and crafts, history and museums, world travel, bowling, playing cards and bingo. She was also past president of the Women’s Navy Auxiliary Fleet Reserve.

Mary is survived by a son Clifford H. Wildes and his wife Carole of Sarasota, FL, a daughter Janice M. Swanson of Lakeville; four grandchildren Jaime Swanson, Jared Swanson, Sean Jacobs, and Kate Kesselring; two great grandchildren Keegan Robert Rosa and Kade Jacobs; a sister Dolores Castalano of Roslindale and a sister in law Elsie Wildes Lawlor of Florida. She was the sister of the late Jean Zaccardo, Isabella Bruzzese, Thomas Rubino, Virginia Lloyd, Rose Rubino, Angelina Violante and George Rubino.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Tuesday 10:30-11:30am followed by a funeral service at 11:30am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery.
