TEWKSBURY - Mrs. Rosemarie A. (Gelsomini) Krugh, died peacefully Thursday evening, February 20th surrounded by family. Rosemarie was the beloved wife of Joseph W. Krugh with whom she celebrated 61 years of marriage.
Rosemarie was born in Boston, May 24, 1932, the daughter of the late Leo and Nellie (Mizer) Gelsomini. She was raised in the West End of Boston. She graduated from Brighton High School with the Class of 1950. After her marriage to Joseph, they moved to Tewksbury where they raised their children.
Rosemarie was a devout member of St. Dorothy’s Church in Wilmington and a devoted full time mother. Later in life Rosemarie worked as a bookkeeper in the company her husband co-founded, DEKR Corporation. She also worked as a Precinct Warden during town elections. For 12 years Rosemarie was a dedicated Girl Scout Troop Leader who formed life-long friendships and embraced “her girls”.
Besides her husband, Rosemarie is survived by her six children; Kevin and his wife Mary Jo (Berube) Krugh of Merrimac, MA, Karen and her partner Bill Lumbard of Tewksbury, Kelly and her husband Tim Shea of Tewksbury, Kathleen and her husband Ed Fenlon of Haverhill, Kenneth and his wife Wendy (Gardner) Krugh of Dracut, and Keith Krugh and his fiancé Tiffiny of Hawaii; her eleven much-loved grandchildren; a brother David and his wife Phyllis Gelsomini of FL; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Gelsomini of CT, and several nieces and nephews.
At Rosemarie’s request, funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to St. Dorothy’s Church, 11 Harndon Street, Wilmington, MA 01887.
