Passed away on February 17, after a long, fulfilling life. He is survived by his wife, Selma, having been joined in marriage 66 years ago; by his brother, Leonard; by his children Larry, Mark (Janice), Diane Bloom (Mike), and Allen; and by his grandchildren Andrew Bloom (Joyce), Brian Bloom, Gregory Bloom, Karen, and Jason; and by his great-grandchildren, Kyra, Dylan, and Josephine. He was born on September 29, 1922 in Woodbury Township, MN. In 1943, at the age of 21, he entered the Army Air Corps. After the war, he worked as a carpenter, cabinet maker, roofer, and locksmith. He was a proud member of Carpenters Union Local 87 and worked for the St. Paul Public Schools for many years. Funeral service (11:00) to be held with visitation 1 hour prior at Sandberg Funeral Home - 2593 E 7th Ave - North St. Paul, MN - Saturday, February 22 and a luncheon at 11:45. Interment - Elmhurst Cemetery.
