Whitman – Dennis M. Drews, 52, died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday February 19th. He was the beloved husband of Roberta (Cieri) Ellis-Drews.
Born and raised in Boston, he was the son of the late Paul and Joy (Neill) Drews.
For the past seven years, Dennis worked as a Supervisor in the Wellesley Post Office.
He enjoyed carpentry and was an avid fan of NASCAR racing.
In addition to his wife Roberta, he is survived by his brothers, James Drews and his wife Virginia of Sharon, and Laurence Drews and his wife Linda of Framingham. He was a beloved brother of the late Robert Drews and his late wife Nell of Foxboro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
His funeral service will be held Monday February 24th, 8 PM, at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, 666 Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 6-8 PM.
